Kids Mystery Party games are pretty thin on the ground in the UK. We suggest you DOWNLOAD a mystery from our friends at Host Party. Here are a few of their kids games - plenty more on their site!  These guys have a HUGE range of games (a few of which we have listed here) and are adding titles at approx 3 per month. The big difference from most games is the ability to customise your party to accomodate the guests you have. They have a lot of user feedback on the website and people seem to be very happy with the products presented. There is a wide range to choose from, for adults, kids and teenagers. The games indicate the audience level, so you can be sure the kids won't be subjected to innuendo, and be extra sure that your adult friends WILL be!!! Captain Unibrow Pete had a rude awakening last night - he woke up in the ocean! Grabbing hold of a floating plank, Captain Pete caught up with the ship and climbed back on board. Captain Pete is steaming mad and wants to know which member, or members, threw him overboard! A challenging pirate mystery for older kids. No murder, but a mystery to uncover who was involved in a mutiny against Captain Unibrow Pete.

I have never believed in fairies! Rose says, stomping her tiny foot, and people who do believe in fairies are silly! She's only kidding, though. After all, if a fairy didn't believe in fairies, that would be pretty silly too, don't you think? I don't know why people don't believe in us, she continues. We've been playing Fairy Games for thousands of Turnes. You'd think everyone would know who we are by now! Once every Turne, which is kind of like an Earth year but quite a bit longer, fairies take time out of their busy schedules of playing and laughing to reveal themselves to humans. Sam's Uncle Geoff is on an extended vacation in Europe. He has asked his sister-in-law, Meg, to move in with her family to watch his house in his absence. He told her that strange things have been happening there over the past six weeks or less, and he didn't want the house empty. He didn't elaborate on the strange happenings. After being there for about a week, during which time, nothing out of the ordinary was noticed, except some weird howling winds in the woods behind the house, Meg agreed to let Sam host and overnight.  8 girls are suspects - up to 20 can play As the clock struck midnight, early this morning, an explosion woke the people staying in Mystery Manor. Moments later came a horrible scream, and everybody ran to the main ballroom where they saw Minerva (everyone calls her Minnie) Maxson, illuminated by a shaft of moonlight, completely frozen in fear. A big hole was discovered in the glass roof of the huge conservatory with its many large trees and plants. Several windows were also broken. Small droplets of blood led into the yard. Minnie's 13th birthday party should have been the highlight of her year. Her parents had booked Mystery Manor on this night before the big birthday dance. As a present, her Aunt Teresa had paid for the event and was there to chaperone the party. Magician Penny Vanish, owner of the Manor and daughter of the late Merlin Vanish, was also scheduled to give a special performance at the big birthday dance. Minnie remained silent, her eyes seemingly fixed open. Nobody was able to attract her attention. The big birthday dance is due to take place tonight, but it cannot possibly go ahead until the mystery is solved. There are rumors of arguments among the guests. Some say the adults are hiding more than a few secrets. What happened to Minnie? Somebody knows. How is it linked to the incident in the conservatory? Minnie's parents have called in a team of investigators. Moments after their arrival, Penny revealed that she had seen a girl in the yard, just moments after the explosion.  4 boys and 4 girls are suspects - up to 25 can play The people of Spruce Valley were nervous. Two days of heavy snow had kept everybody inside their houses, as well as cutting off the town from the outside world. Nobody wanted a third snow day to spoil preparations for the Christmas celebration. Happily, the weather broke early on Christmas Eve morning, and snowplows began clearing the town's streets even though the roads into and out of town were still clogged with snow. People went about their business. There was much to catch up on! The festivities were to take place in the town square with its huge Christmas tree. Every year, Hamley-Schwarz, the largest toy shop in town, wraps 100 presents and arranges them beneath the tree. After carols and Christmas cookies, the much-loved Mayor Bailey, dresses as Santa and arrives on a sleigh, then hands out the presents to the town's children. By six o'clock everything was ready, and a soft snowfall welcomed the townsfolk to the beautifully decorated square. The town clock chimed six times, and the music began. But behind the scenes is panic. Christine Cringle, the person in charge of the presents, has discovered that all of the presents have vanished! Only a small group of people knows about the theft, and it’s hoped that the case can be solved without having to cancel everything. Everybody is a suspect, and Christine has asked a group of trustworthy citizens to quietly investigate the incident. Mayor Bailey is due to arrive at 7:30 and nobody wants to let him down. How could this have happened? Who would be so cruel as to steal the children's presents on Christmas Eve? It's up to you to solve the mystery and save the Christmas celebration. |

 4 boys and 4 girls are suspects - up to 20 can play Every year the small town of Tadpole Grove grinds to a halt for the Tadpole Grove Dog Show. Hopeful hounds from miles around gather in the town hall to be judged on their appearance, behavior, training and friendliness. It's the biggest event in town and everybody looks forward to it. For the last four years, the show’s Grand Champion has been Cocoa, a beautiful chocolate Labrador retriever. Unfortunately this means that the number of visitors is dwindling, and the other contestants are starting to grumble. Rumors are spreading that the whole show is a fix. This year, preparations were underway for the big show. The hall was decorated and ready, but very few tickets had been sold. Then, the night before the big event, phones started to ring, and news quickly spread that Cocoa had been kidnapped! A strange note was found early the next morning that said only: Not this time. The town policeman, Officer Apples, has asked everybody to remain calm. He will, he says, find who stole Cocoa. He’s the only policeman in the town, though, and residents have decided he could use some help. The dog show is scheduled to start in a few hours. Private investigators have been called in to work with Officer Apples. Eight people are obvious suspects, and one of them must be guilty. But who? For such a small town, a lot is going on behind the scenes. The clock is ticking. You need to find out what happened. |
