Not being
a fan of the show (I've never managed to catch a whole episode),
I cannot really comment on the TV show Earth: Final Conflict.
The first
two books cover early, previously undocumented adventures that
pre-date events in the series. Requiem For Boone deals with the
life of William Boone, the first martyr for the Resistance against
the Taelons. The First Protector concerns the arrival of Taelon
scientist Ma'el on Earth. Sent to judge Earth, Ma'el lands in
Celtic Ireland. Accompanied by a warrior and a druidess, Ma'el
sets out to discover all he can about our planet, and this journey
has repercussions that will affect Humans and Taelons for generations.
Finally, The Arrival covers events in the actual series, I believe.
The Head of Doors International, Jonathan Doors, initially works
with the Taelons when they first come to Earth. His motives are
both personal and humanitarian, but he slowly comes to understand
that there is more to the Companions arrival than meets they are
saying.
As I said,
I cannot fairly comment on these books (anyone out there who can,
please drop us a note). However, any fans of the series will no
doubt be delighted to discover more about the back-story to Earth:
Final Conflict.
